The Only Holi Playlist You Will Ever Need

There can’t be a Holi without Bollywood songs. On this awesome day, we take a look at some of the most iconic Holi songs.

Balam pichkari — Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013)

Vishal Dadlani and Shalmali Kholgade give us a refreshing take on Holi.

Do me a favour — Waqt (2005)

Anu Malik and Sunidhi Chauhan rock the dance floor with this instant hit.

Holi khele Raghuveera — Baghban (2003)

This one was more of a reinvention of Amitabh Bacchan’s classic voice. One simply cannot miss his presence.

Ang se ang — Darr (1993)

This was more than just a Holi song. Probably the only song in the playlist that has been able to blend in so well with the story.

Aaj na chodenge – Kati Patang (1970)

Kishore Kumar killed it with his superb rendition in this one. Still plays in opur hearts even after so many years.

Holi ke din — Sholay (1975)

This song will forever be known for the superhit chemistry between Dharmendra and Hema Malini. The song also follows after the iconic “Holi kab hai?” dialogue from Gabbar Singh.

Rang barse — Silsila (1981)

No Holi playlist can ever be complete without this iconic song from Silsila. Amitabh Bacchan takes home the cake with his sheer presence and his chemistry with Rekha.
